Next Tex #5: Call for Innovators

On the 4th to 6th September 2018 Sourcebook will be presenting the fifth Next Tex Innovation Showcase. The curated group exhibition explores the future of fashion and textiles through products and projects by both trailblazing startups and established companies alike. With a focus on cross-sector technologies and sustainable systems, our exhibitors range from manufacturers and designers implementing wearable technology, to software developers, biotech labs and textile research institutes.

This season we are looking for exhibits that engage with:

• Circular Systems

• Advanced Manufacturing

• Biotech Materials

• Textile Interfaces

Next Tex takes place in 250 sqm of the Keyhouse innovations zone at the leading bi-annual textile and accessories trade fair Munich Fabric Start. Showcasing over 1000 exhibitors from 40 countries over 40 000 sqm, Munich Fabric Start attracts more than 20 300 visitors over three days – including buyers and designers from the world’s most renowned fashion brands.

As a Next Tex Innovator you can showcase your product, project or prototype at Munich Fabric Start for the very attractive price of €400 – for the whole three days. Not only will you exhibit alongside other Innovators and leaders in the field of fashion tech, Next Tex exhibitors are also invited to present their work on the Keyhouse mainstage, be part of panel talks and carry out workshops.

The Next Tex Innovator Package includes:

• 50cm x 50cm Display Pedestal, or a mannequin, with electricity, lighting and optional perspex cover
• Featured in Next Tex brochure, Sourcebook blog, social media and press releases
• Listed on Munich Fabric Start website
• Presented during guided/press tours
• Networking opportunities, including exhibitor party
• Participation in the Press Lounge

Press Lounge: Making the most of the last days of summer, this season the Press Lounge content creation hub will be going al fresco! Run collaboratively with Munich Fabric Start, here we conduct and film interviews with Next Tex and Keyhouse exhibitors to post on our online channels – check out our YouTube channel for videos from the last Press Lounge.
